What kind of stones are these? TOP
The beads I make are not stones though sometimes they can look and feel like actual stones. They are actually made from glass.
You actually make these beads from glass? How? TOP
Yep, I sure do. I use glass that comes from Italy, Germany, and the USA. It comes in hundreds of color rods about the size of a pencil. Using a torch, I melt the glass and manipulate it to form various shapes and designs.
How long will it take to make a custom set? TOP
Well, that depends on what day of the week you ask me. I spend all day Monday at the torch, so if you give me an order on Sunday I can usually make it the next day. If I don't get your order till Tuesday then you will most likely have to wait till I torch again either the weekend or the following Monday. It then takes another day to clean and package or assemble the jewelry and package. I'm pretty addicted to my hobby of melting glass so I will get to your order as soon as possible. Holidays will slow me down. Especially Christmas, so if you have something in mind as a gift please keep this in mind and try to order as soon as possible.
How much is shipping? TOP
I use USPS most of the time and shipping is $3.00 anywhere in the USA for the first item and $.50 for each additional item. This includes delivery confirmation. Shipping outside the US is $7.00 plus $.50 for each additional item. Insurance is recommended and extra on US and international. I can not be held responsible for lost mail.
What about customs fees? TOP
If
your country charges a Value Added Tax (VAT) on imported goods, these
charges are the Buyer's responsibility and duty to pay. Orders that are
shipped to countries outside of the United States may be subject to
import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country
for the purchase price. The recipient of an international shipment may
be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are
levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for
customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; I have no control over
these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies
vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local
customs office for further information. When customs clearance
procedures are required, it can cause delivery delays outside of my
control.
When can I expect my package? TOP
I ship out within 2 days of receiving your order unless it's a custom order. You should then receive your package within 3-5 business days. International orders can take anywhere from 2-6 weeks and sometimes longer. Please be patient as they get held up at customs occasionally.
Do you gift wrap? TOP
I would be glad to gift wrap something for that special someone in your life. If you need the package delivered to a different address than your own please add it to the message section in paypal.
What is your return, exchange, refund policy? TOP
I feel confidant that you will be 100% satisfied with your purchase. If, however, you are not, please contact me within 7 days of receiving your package for a full refund (minus shipping) or I will gladly exchange for something else. I want you to be happy with the beads and jewelry I make.
Will my item look exactly like the picture? TOP
I make every effort to take photos that represent the true colors of the beads however, your monitor color settings may be set differently than mine. Occasionally this causes a discrepancy when beads arrive. This is very rare but if it's not the color you were expecting and are not happy with your purchase you may return it. See above statement on returns.
